Serum Tears are eye drops made from a patient's own blood serum and normal saline to make eye drops for use by patients with dry eye and other eye conditions. 

Your blood serum is a near match to your natural tears.  They both contain vital nutrients, vitamins, proteins, fibronectin, and human growth factors that cells need to heal and stay healthy.

There are no known side effects from using serum tears.

Each provider charges differently for their services.  However, typically, YourTears cost less than other providers charge for serum tears (up to 50% less).  

YourTears should be stored in the freezer, at 28 degrees Fahrenheit or colder.  The bottle being used should be stored in the refrigerator, and kept at 40 degrees Fahrenheit or colder.

Frozen, YourTears can be stored up to 12 months. 

Refrigerated, YourTears are best used within 30 days. 

Once serum tears warm up to room temperature, the viable nutrients begin to break down and may no longer be as effective.  If this occurs, it is recommended to dispose of that bottle and a fresh unopened bottle from the freezer.
